In cooperation with the South Coast Air Quality Management District, the City of Beaumont has setup an Air Quality Hotline.

If you observe an air quality issue, please call 951.572.3232 or 1-800-CUT-SMOG, AQMD’s hotline, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The AQMD is the air pollution control agency for all of Orange County and the urban portions of Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Its mission is to undertake all necessary steps to protect public health from air pollution, with sensitivity to the impacts of its actions on the community and businesses.

This is accomplished through a comprehensive program of planning, regulation, compliance assistance, enforcement, monitoring, technology advancement, and public education.
