Business Licenses
New State Law Beginning on January 1, 2013
On September 19, 2012, Governor Brown signed into law SB-1186, which adds a state fee of $1 on any applicant for a local business license,similar instrument, permit, or renewal thereof. The purpose is to increase disability access and compliance with construction-related accessibility requirements and to develop educational resources for businesses in order to facilitate compliance with federal and state disability laws, as specified.

Under federal and state law, compliance with disability access laws is a serious and significant responsibility that applies to all California building owners and tenants with buildings open to the public.

What you can expect from SB-1186 is an additional $1 to be charged on all new and renewing business license applications.

Renewals & Out-of-Town Business Licenses
Renewals or out-of-town business licenses for the City of Beaumont can be obtained from the counter or by downloading the application and returning it the the counter either in person or by mail.

New Business
All new businesses located in the City of Beaumont must call 951-769-8520 to receive the necessary instructions or come in to:
