Political Signs in the Right-of-Way
In order to be fair and consistent to all candidates, the City of Beaumont requires candidates to complete a free Encroachment Permit Application:

The Permit Application outlines the sizes and locations of Political Signs, in order to preserve and enhance the aesthetic, traffic safety and environmental values of our community and growing commercial and industrial areas, while at the same time, providing channels of communication to the public.

If you would like to report violations of the Political Sign Encroachment permit, you can now submit them to us via AskBeaumont, on our website.  We will address violations as they are reported, allowing until 8:00a.m. the next business day for removal of signs that are in violation, before the Code Compliance Department will remove the signs.  IF any signs are removed, City of Beaumont may charge a fee of $20.00 per sign plus cost of removal before it will be released/returned. You may contact the Code Compliance Department at 951-572-3234 if you have additional questions or concerns.
