The Beaumont Public Works Department is responsible for a variety of construction, maintenance and infrastructure-related projects in the city. It is responsible for:
- Current and prospective bidders list
- Construction project comments replies
- Street lights
- Street paving inquires
- Sinkholes
- Pothole repairs
- Street flooding
- Street striping
- Traffic sign and signal problems
The department is also responsible for the review and approval of all engineering for land development projects and design and construction of all capital improvement projects
